Worlds Best Mercinary

In the world of assassins, mercenaries, and guns-for-hire, what matters most is completing your mission.  That’s what makes you a good.  Never failing even when your targets are the World’s Greatest Superheroes, that’s what makes you the best, what makes you Deathstroke.

A military man, Slade Wilson was recruited into the special ops unit Team 7, where he participated in highly dangerous classified missions.  Willing to do whatever he could to make himself better Slade underwent an experimental procedure that granted him enhanced speed, strength and intelligence, making him the worlds best soldier.  After Team 7 was disbanded Slade used his powers as a mercenary-for-hire and quickly gained a name for himself in the criminal world as the man to call when you want to make sure the job will get done.  Without question he is the world’s greatest assassin and one of the most feared people on the planet. 1367172340-batman-arkham-origins-4.jpg

Arkham Asylum

Batman: Arkham Asylum by far one of the best games out there.  It is located right outside of Gotham City and where Batman’s foes considered to be legally insane are kept (other enemies are kept in Blackgate Penitentiary.)  Notable Patients are: Amygdala, Bane, Black Mask, Calendar Man, The Cavalier, The Charlatan, Clayface I (Basil Karlo), Clayface II (Matthew Hagen), Clayface III (Preston Payne), Clayface IV (Sondra Fuller), Cornelius Stirk, Crazy Quilt, Deadshot, Doctor Double X, Doctor Phosphorus, Film Freak, Firefly, Harley Quinn, Hugo Strange, Hush, The Joker, Killer Croc, Killer Moth, Lock-Up, The Mad Hatter, Magpie, Maxie Zeus, Mr. Freeze, The Penguin, Poison Ivy, Professor Pyg, Professor Milo, Ra’s A; Ghul, The Riddler, Ratcatcher, Rupert Thorne, The Scarecrow, Tweedledum and Tweedledee, Two-Face, The Ventriloquist, Vox, Warren White, Witch, and Zsasz.
Arkham Asylum doesn’t have a very good record when it comes to keeping inmates in.  There has been numerous murders, breakout attempts, and prison riots.  The Joker has escaped Arkham every time he has gotten in.  This is not a place you want to be sent.

The Man Who Broke the Bat

You know him from the last movie of The Dark Knight Trilogy, Batman: Arkham Asylum, Batman: Arkham City, and the newest game, Batman: Arkham Origins.  It takes a certain type of villain to get the best of the Bat it takes another type to overrun his city, crushed his spirits and demolish him completely.  A person with incredible intelligence.  A man with immeasurable resolve and insurmountable strength.  Bane was born in Peña Duro or hell on earth located in Santa Prisca.

As a child in the prison bane considered his only friend a teddy bear named Osito.  (Spanish for “little bear”) Osito evidently has a little hole in his back in which Bane keeps a knife he used for “bullies.”  Fueled by the super steroid serum known as Venom.  He is a master planner and stagiest he has devoted his life to proving himself the best.  Bane holds a much greater sense of respect for the Dark Knight than most of his fellow villains, seeing the Dark Knight as his only real equal.  Bane is mostly noted for his epic battle with the Bat in the historic “Knightfall” (1993 to 1994) where he became especially know for breaking Batman’s back.

While recovering Bruce Wayne passes the mantel to Jean-Paul Valley also known as Azrael.  Utilizing a sophisticated combat suit in place of the traditional Batman uniform, he fights and defeats Bane at the end of the “Knightfall” story arc cutting the tubes that pump the Venom into Bane’s bloodstream causing severe withdrawal.  Azrael then gives the weakened Bane a vicious beating leaving him barely alive.

Why So Serious?

You know him from the movie The Dark Knight and from video games like Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City and now Batman: Arkham Origins.   The green hair the crazy smile and the maniacal crackle you know exactly who he is and he will do anything to put a smile on your face.  The Joker stands as the most recognizable villain in the entire comic universe.
He is the complete opposite of the Dark Knight.  Unpredictable, violent and incredibly dangerous.  He creates destruction and chaos by destroying lives and all he does is believe that life is one big joke.  He has killed a Robin and crippled Batgirl he does this all for a laugh.  “Why so serious? Lets put a smile on that face HAHAHAHA.”

There is Nothing to Fear Except Fear Its Self

Batman strikes fear in to the hearts of his enemies by utilizing terror itself as a weapon.  As the words from Ra’s Al Ghul “Men fear most what they cannot see.”  Although Batman knows how to use fear, as a weapon there is one other, Jonathan Crane, or better known as: The Scarecrow.  As a child Jonathan was used for experiments that make your fears seem more realistic his father conducted these experiments on Jonathan.

Then one day Jonathan realized if he could control fear it would never control him. Crane graduated from college with a doctorate in psychology and specialty in phobias.  He then started conducting tests of his own using a hallucinogenic fear toxin that he developed himself.  Crane is constantly improving his formula creating more potent and deadlier versions but the Dark Knight is always one step ahead of Crane.

Who is the Batman?

The Dark Knight, Caped Crusader, World’s Greatest Detective or just simply The Batman.  He is known by many names and from many things movies, TV shows, video games, cartoons or comics although he does not have any powers he is by far one of the most intimidating heroes of all time.  Millionaire Bruce Wayne was only a kid when he witnessed his parents get shot during a mugging.  After this tragedy Bruce devoted his life to training to stop injustice in Gotham City.  Most of Batman’s specialized weaponry and teach that is portable can be found on his Utility Belt.  Bob Kane and Bill Finger created batman in May 1939 in the original Detective Comics.
